Meet Jenna Kamp:

I am a veteran teacher and leader whose mission is to assist educators with amplifying their instructional and coaching capacities to promote powerful thinking and learning in schools. I do this by developing free content for educators, offering professional development workshops, providing leader and teacher mentor training, and coaching leaders, teachers, and coaches or mentors in small groups or one-on-one.

My workshops give educators easy-to-implement research-based instructional strategies and resources that help teachers engage and motivate the neuro, linguistic, and physically diverse scholars in our classrooms. I can help you hone your teaching craft or coaching capacities for greater efficacy, success, and personal satisfaction!

Data-driven training for a successful classroom

I use research-based, data-driven strategies you can implement immediately to improve your scholars’ motivation to learn, to deepen scholars’ critical thinking with relevant and meaningful activities, and to reduce off-task or distracting classroom behavior.

I train K-12 educators in all disciplines to utilize easy-to-implement reading, writing, and computational strategies that improve critical thinking capacities through literacy and numeracy skills as assessed on standards-based tests.

I train educators schoolwide how to implement effective collaborative strategies to improve scholar engagement with and accountability to each other, which fosters rigorous, relevant learning of 21st-century skills.

And ALL of my trainings —either in-person or webinar formats — offer follow-up coaching for meaningful, successful implementation by all teachers. One-and-done trainings can be very inspiring, but all too often the motivation to implement the strategies a teacher has just learned wanes through the days and weeks back in the classroom. I know — I’m one of those teachers who LOVES going to workshops to learn new skills and strategies, but I can’t tell you how many times I attended a training and then went back to school to implement my learning and felt literally deflated when it didn’t go as expected, when my new skills just didn’t cut it. What happened? Where did I go wrong? I wondered.

The answer to those questions is simple: just like my students, I needed feedback and reflection to learn how to tweak things for greater success in my classroom. Coaching conversations following a training are vital for the successful implementation and deep learning of new strategies and skills.

When you hire me for a training, I’ll deliver high-quality, interactive workshop style trainings with follow-up coaching sessions for individuals or small groups, all tailored to your needs and according to your budget. Fill out an interest form TODAY for a Jenna Kamp session to start our conversation on how I can help you, your colleagues, and your school successfully implement data-driven tools and strategies to improve scholar motivation, engagement, and learning!
